You can find Bibles everywhere. There are online Bibles as well, but you will want to get a Bible you can hold in your hands and take with you and read. There are Bibles that are easier to read. There are study Bibles. Start with one that you are able to read easily. Some people like the King James Version. Some do not. But for study notes, eventually you would probably want a King James Version even if you read another version regularly.
The historical story of Jesus is woven throughout the Bible from the Old Testament to the New Testament. Jesus was born, lived, died, was buried, and has risen from the grave and ascended to heaven and is alive as the Bible says. Events have backed up the words. You can find out more here.

Besides reading the Bible, you need a good local church.
Until you find one, here is a good online church. Participate just like you would at a local church, but keep looking for a local church as well.
