Psalm 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

A civilization is built upon a foundation, a structure of generally accepted rules and norms which are considered a framework for living.

Wokeness destroys that structure, that underpinning.
Wokeness brings chaos.

Examples are sometimes easier to understand than generalities.

You send your child to school.  You expect certain norms.  You expect safety.  You expect training in essential subjects such as reading, writing, arithmetic, actual history and science.  You expect healthy food in the lunchroom.  There is a certain underlying framework that is expected.

In an industrial society, the economy of goods and services develops within a framework of law and order, checks and balances.  If you run a manufacturing plant, you seek to put out a good product.  You require that those companies that you depend upon for parts and supplies hold to a necessary standard of quality.  Your product can be no better than the parts that compose it.

For everything to function, there has be an understood agreement that everyone will operate at the highest level professionalism and honesty.  The one who says he will function at the same level of professionalism, but lies and does the opposite, will break down the system.

A civilization presumes a certain level of law and order, accepted norms, and a level of honor…that people will abide by their word in terms of contracts, commitments, and in today’s world this must be added…using the historical norms of definitions rather than creating “on-the-spot” or “on-the-fly” new definitions in order to avoid legal culpability.

In decades past, there was a time when the Bible and the values of the Bible were important to society.  Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.  If a man will not work, he will not eat.  Honor thy father and mother.  God made them male and female and said be fruitful and multiply.  Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.

You can read through the book of Proverbs, the Sermon on the Mount, and the Ten Commandments as a sampling of some of the values considered important in times past.

Over time, there has been a shifting away from Biblical values to the system the Bible calls Babylon.

Revelation 18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,

13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,

16 And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;

23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Unlike some who comment on this topic, I don’t think Babylon can be pinned on any one group.  That type of thinking gives a “get out of jail free” card to other groups.

There are certain phrases may be useful to help veer away from that tendency such as…”the pot can’t call the kettle black” or “if the shoe fits, wear it”.

The fruits of Babylon are evident all around us, and cannot be pinned on any one particular person or group.

The Bible exhorts us all to come out of Babylon.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

We can see the fallout of Babylon all around us.  The fruits of Babylon are evident in dysfunctional lives, dysfunctional families, a dysfunctional society and a dysfunctional nation.

Why is this happening?

It is happening for the same reason that the Fall in the Garden of Eden happened.

God created the heavens and the earth.  In heaven, a created being generally considered to have been an archangel, Lucifer, wanted the throne of God, and held a coup against God.  God cast him out and the 1/3 of the angels that followed satan were cast out with him.

Lucifer came to the earth; the fallen name is known as satan or the serpent or the dragon.

God had put Adam and Eve on the earth to have dominion over the earth.  God gave them certain instructions to obey.  Satan tempted them to disobey God.  Adam and Eve fell, lost their authority and position with God, and were cast out of the garden.

Ever since Eden, satan has continued to tempt the souls of men.

He talked to God about Job.

Job 1:7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

He came to Jesus.

Luke 4:1  And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:

10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

He came to the Pharisees.

John 8:41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

47 He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

The Apostle Peter warns all believers to beware of satan.

I Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

The Apostle Paul warns of the ongoing warfare.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

This ongoing attempt to draw man into disobedience, to get man to disobey God, this ongoing attempt has not ceased.

Satan tempts man on a personal level to disobey God, and on a national level, to incalculate laws  and attitudes contrary to the laws of God.  Simply look around a little and you can see that is so.

The only answer is individual and national repentance, by turning back to God.  This is ongoing.

Jeremiah 6:16 Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

18 Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them.

19 Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

Wokeness is inspired by satan.

One of the dangers of wokeness is that it denies the reality of the spirit,  it denies the reality of the soul, it denies the reality of the conscience.  It tries to say that thought is simply a matter of a chemical or electrical impulse in the brain and nothing more.

Why does this matter?  Is this nitpicking?  Who cares?

It does matter, because as the saying goes, “the devil is in the details”.

To consider thought simply an electrical or chemical impulse runs contrary to what the Bible teaches.  Man was created by God and therefore, through his conscience, can be aware of moral issues; man can be aware of right and wrong.

Wokeness, or progressivism, or atheism, or secularism, or modernism, pick the term you like, would try to convince society overall that there is no right and wrong, no sin, and that tradition norms against certain behavior, for example, pedophilia, should be accepted on newer, more “enlightened”, more modernistic terms such as minor attracted persons.

After all,  as wokeness would argue, it is simply an electrical or chemical impulse in the brain (this is not true).

The end result, the end danger, of accepting that idea  that thought is only an electronic impulse is that this philosophy leads to a dangerous, slippery slope.

Here is the outline of the slippery slope.

The thought that man is simply electronic impulses can lead to the thought that…since it is all an electronic impulse anyway…why not let AIs run society?

However, the point must be made that AIs are programmed by someone and only have one of two ways to be programmed in regards to man…life or death.

And if AIs are programmed by someone for death, and are programmed to send out directives to mankind based on that, then all directives sent out…text messages, corporate strategies, government dictates and red tape…whatever powers AIs have been given will be directives for the death of mankind.

If a death cult convinces the rest of society that all thought is is a bunch of electronic signals in the brain and that humanity should cede its rights to AIs, and then those AIs give out directives contrary to the welfare of mankind…you can see how dangerous that is and what a slippery slope that becomes.

Why do you think there is such a trend  to speak in simple sentences?  It is so AIs can merge with the writing of humans, and pull statements from humans, and then recreate those sentences into new documents.

But again, if the AIs are programmed for death, then a society that accepts the lie that there is no soul, no conscience, and therefore should go under the dictatorship of AIs, is a society that is setting itself up to slide down a slippery slope under a death cult and that society is headed for extinction.

Let’s go back to the original premise, that for a society to function there have to be culturally recognized and accepted historical norms.  These create the fabric that holds society together.

There is a disruptive push in society towards pedophilia, transgenderism, castration of children, abortion, ethanasia, drug addiction, alcohol addiction, various forms of abuse and a concurrent attempt to explain those things as simply a matter of the misfunction of chemical or electrical firings in the brain.

This is an attempt for a new and radically different foundation than the historical foundation of sinful behavior from which man needs redemption, through Jesus Christ.

It becomes evident that there is a woke or progressive agenda to move society from a foundation of dealing with behavior in terms of sin and redemption, (which is a scriptural foundation), to a psychological or chemical or electrical foundation that can be manipulated by wokeness or political correctness.

It is an attempt to move society from being under the dominion of the Lord God to being under the dominion of satan.

Satan will allow any kind of sinful behaviour…adultery, crime, theft, lying, white collar crime, extortion, crime at high levels of government, crime at low levels of society, corporate crime…it doesn’t matter for then satan has control of souls in life and will bring them to hell after death.

Men, being lied to, thinks that the devil does not exist, thinks that it is “okay” to operate by the power of the devil…lies, lust, Epstein’s Island, Chinese spies, honeypots…or in less dramatic everyday form…the soap operas and drama and sins that may play out in everyday lives…it doesn’t matter what level this operates.  Satan is willing to take any who will believe his lies to his realm of darkness and hell.

Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

13 And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

There was a time when these foundational truths were recognized and more of society attempted to live righteously on this earth, for blessings now and after death.

People basically understood that there was right and wrong, God and satan, heaven and hell.

Modernism, wokeness and all the rest of those philosophies, spawned by the father of lies, have tried to convince people that God, and satan, right and wrong, heaven and hell, are simply chemical electrical constructs in the brain.

This is an alternate foundation of sand that has been offered to society.

The moving away from a Biblical foundation in society has resulted in what we see today.

We currently have two different foundations competing in society.

There comes a point where spiritually and naturally, the difficulties of walking together with two different foundations, one historical and Biblical, of law and order; and the other of chaos and wokeness, cannot continue.

Each way of life is an ongoing form of sowing and reaping.

This is a time of separation.

Matthew 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

The pendulum is shifting.  Up until now, wokeness has been prized in certain industries, for example, the woke media or the woke military or the woke administrative state of the government.   Saying woke things, or lying, at least as long as necessary to keep a political candidate out of office, has led to woke promotions and rewards.

Wokeness, corruption, lies, fiat money, illegal business partnerships that bypass legitimate national law…all these have become a part of an alternate foundation that is competing against a traditional foundation based on law and order, and to a large extent, Biblical influences.

The pendulum is shifting.

As public awareness shifts, society will shift back to a foundation that works, at least if it wants to survive.

Again, the historical foundation that has worked in the past is based on law and order and upon Biblical values.

Industries will want those who believe that work is good and who want to give an honest day’s work for an honest day’s wage.  Honesty, work ethic, the family structure, and Biblical values will be seen as desirable.

The fruit of wokeness is not good; as indicated, it can lead down the slippery slope of an AI death cult.

Wokeness will not construct a house, work farm land, or bring about productive manufacturing or industry.

Just what is wokeness good for anyway except to tear down the foundation of the past?

Wokeness attempts to “disrupt” and by “disrupting” industry and society, by tearing down industry and society, it hopes to create something where the “woke cult” is in dictatorial charge and money and power flow to those who are part of the cult and religion of wokeness and progressivism.

And actually behind it all is satan, the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy.

Jesus says:

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Again, the question was:

Psalm 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
