Why Going Along to Get Along Does Not Work
While it is true that individually we suffer for sins of commission or omission, we can also suffer as a society for evil that must be removed and which is permitted uncontested.
The Apostle Paul taught that the things that happened to the children of Israel are an example, to teach us.
I Corinthians 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
Deuteronomy states this.
Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
One of the lessons of the Old Testament is that of Achan. There was a battle. God gave instructions as to what to do with the spoils of battle. Most of the people obeyed. Achan did not. That one individual brought about the death of around thirty-six people. God told Joshua (the leader and successor of Moses) to deal with the sin in the camp.
Joshua 7:1 But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the anger of the Lord was kindled against the children of Israel.
2 And Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Bethaven, on the east of Bethel, and spake unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and viewed Ai.
3 And they returned to Joshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up; but let about two or three thousand men go up and smite Ai; and make not all the people to labour thither; for they are but few.
4 So there went up thither of the people about three thousand men: and they fled before the men of Ai.
5 And the men of Ai smote of them about thirty and six men: for they chased them from before the gate even unto Shebarim, and smote them in the going down: wherefore the hearts of the people melted, and became as water.
6 And Joshua rent his clothes, and fell to the earth upon his face before the ark of the Lord until the eventide, he and the elders of Israel, and put dust upon their heads.
7 And Joshua said, Alas, O Lord God, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan!
8 O Lord, what shall I say, when Israel turneth their backs before their enemies!
9 For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do unto thy great name?
10 And the Lord said unto Joshua, Get thee up; wherefore liest thou thus upon thy face?
11 Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.
12 Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.
13 Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus saith the Lord God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.
14 In the morning therefore ye shall be brought according to your tribes: and it shall be, that the tribe which the Lord taketh shall come according to the families thereof; and the family which the Lord shall take shall come by households; and the household which the Lord shall take shall come man by man.
15 And it shall be, that he that is taken with the accursed thing shall be burnt with fire, he and all that he hath: because he hath transgressed the covenant of the Lord, and because he hath wrought folly in Israel.
16 So Joshua rose up early in the morning, and brought Israel by their tribes; and the tribe of Judah was taken:
17 And he brought the family of Judah; and he took the family of the Zarhites: and he brought the family of the Zarhites man by man; and Zabdi was taken:
18 And he brought his household man by man; and Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, was taken.
19 And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the Lord God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me.
20 And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the Lord God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done:
21 When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.
22 So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran unto the tent; and, behold, it was hid in his tent, and the silver under it.
23 And they took them out of the midst of the tent, and brought them unto Joshua, and unto all the children of Israel, and laid them out before the Lord.
24 And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor.
25 And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the Lord shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones.
26 And they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the Lord turned from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day.
So how does that relate to us today?
When there are things like satanic rituals during Grammys, or during Superbowl half time, if all society does is shrug instead of working (spiritually and naturally) to remove satanic evil from society, then the uncontested sin will affect society as a whole.
Jesus already defeated the devil at the cross. He left it to the church to enforce that victory through the authority of the name of Jesus and the power of the Blood of Jesus. Satan, by default, will keep trying to hold on to his old territory and lie and say that he is the owner, when actually, he has lost the title deed.
There are spiritual battles. There are natural battles.
What can you do at a natural level? It depends on what you notice and who is doing it.
- Boycott Hollywood’s movies.
- Disconnect from a woke streaming service.
- Give up a subscription.
- Vote with your economic dollars.
- Voice your displeasure to the management, other relevant entities or your political representatives
- Insist on election integrity
- Insist on medical honesty and integrity
- Withdraw from those in public office that are obviously lying and morally corrupt

“The Rest of the Story”
There used to be a radio commentator, Paul Harvey, who had a sign off of “…and now you know the rest of the story”.
There have been prior posts on the fact that what is happening around us is evil fruit from the myth of evolution.
When it is fully accepted that the historical account in Genesis is the correct history of the world, and not evolution, then it must also be accepted that satan, who was thrown out of heaven after he attempted a coup for the throne of God, was cast down to the earth and has been wreaking havoc ever since. If satan couldn’t get to God, he would try to get to God’s man, Adam, which he did.
Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
The heavens rejoiced to get rid of satan but woe to those who live in the earth.
Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Jesus taught, while he was on earth, that there are those who yield to satan, who carry out the evil suggestions that the devil gives them for the earth.
John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Jesus defeated satan at the cross and ultimately that will be evident. The reason it is still not evident is that Jesus turned around and gave the keys of the kingdom, which He had won through His victory on the cross, to the Church. It is up to the Church to enforce that defeat until Jesus actually fully comes back in His Second Coming.
While the Lord God has all authority and power, He works through His ways.
Psalm 115:16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
Jesus came to earth to solve the problem that was created on earth at the Fall in the Garden of Eden. There is a jurisdiction that exists on the earth that God set up; he gave the earth to the children of men, and so for God to work in this realm he requires the cooperation of mankind, or in the case of Jesus, came to earth Himself to operate on this earthly realm in order to solve an earthly problem. God sovereignly created the earth, but then turned it over to mankind, at least until the appointed time of the Second Coming.
There is a prophetic word that Jesus will return at the Second Coming; many people of many denominations are aware of that. But that in itself is a legal event, so to speak, when Jesus will sovereignly again be on the earth. Until then, if we hope to have the help of God, we have to find out how to relate to Him and do things His way. God is not going to “pop in” (at least until the appointed time) to solve things on the earth that he gave mankind the responsibility and ability to take dominion over through the keys of the kingdom that Jesus won at the cross and gave to mankind to use in his name, on his behalf, as his ambassadors.
Mark 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
God has always worked through people. Being God, he can sovereignly do anything. He has chosen to work through people on this earth through their obedience to His Voice, and through their prayers and through learning His ways and walking in them. God is not a vending machine. He requires obedience to His Will and ways.
From election fraud, to the Federal Reserve, to open borders, to drugs, to pedophilia, to transgenderism…all the evils of this present world which are contrary to “traditional values”, which values have traditionally been based on the Bible, satan is inspiring, and also inspiring people still under his control to enact a tyranny where the rule of the world is under satan. Satan lost that attempt for dominion in heaven and has since been trying to create it in the earth. His power is the power of bluff and the fact that no one, or not enough, collectively stand against what he is doing, in the name of Jesus.
The facts, the truth, belong with the Christians and conservatives, but the world overall has been in a state of sleep. There is some awakening due to the massive suffering and a questioning of why it is happening and the cause.
Ultimately, the cause is satanic power which works through people who are willing to yield to the power for power, profit, promotion, fear of man, blackmail, bribery, greed, corruption, lack of morals, lack of ethics, and lust.
Matthew 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

The Parable of the Tares
Matthew 13:24 (KJV) Another parable put he [Jesus] forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

Which is more powerful, the world, the flesh, or the devil?
Kraków A-595 kościół św. Józefa ul. Zamoyskiego 2 detal ambona b.jpg
I John 2:1 My children, these things I write to you in order that ye may not sin; and if any one sin, we have a patron with the Father, Jesus Christ [the] righteous;
2 and *he* is the propitiation for our sins; but not for ours alone, but also for the whole world.
3 And hereby we know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that says, I know him, and does not keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;
5 but whoever keeps his word, in him verily the love of God is perfected. Hereby we know that we are in him.
6 He that says he abides in him ought, even as *he* walked, himself also [so] to walk.
7 Beloved, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment, which ye have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye heard.
8 Again, I write a new commandment to you, which thing is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing and the true light already shines.
9 He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in the darkness until now.
10 He that loves his brother abides in light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him.
11 But he that hates his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness, and knows not where he goes, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
12 I write to you, children, because [your] sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.
13 I write to you, fathers, because ye have known him [that is] from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked [one]. I write to you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
14 I have written to you, fathers, because ye have known him [that is] from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and ye have overcome the wicked [one].
15 Love not the world, nor the things in the world. If any one love the world, the love of the Father is not in him;
16 because all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world is passing, and its lust, but he that does the will of God abides for eternity.
18 Little children, it is [the] last hour, and, according as ye have heard that antichrist comes, even now there have come many antichrists, whence we know that it is [the] last hour.
19 They went out from among us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have surely remained with us, but that they might be made manifest that none are of us.
20 And *ye* have [the] unction from the holy [one], and ye know all things.
21 I have not written to you because ye do not know the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
22 Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? *He* is the antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.
23 Whoever denies the Son has not the Father either; he who confesses the Son has the Father also.
24 As for *you* let that which ye have heard from the beginning abide in you: if what ye have heard from the beginning abides in you, *ye* also shall abide in the Son and in the Father.
25 And this is the promise which *he* has promised us, life eternal.
26 These things have I written to you concerning those who lead you astray:
27 and *yourselves*, the unction which ye have received from him abides in you, and ye have not need that any one should teach you; but as the same unction teaches you as to all things, and is true and is not a lie, and even as it has taught you, ye shall abide in him.
28 And now, children, abide in him, that if he be manifested we may have boldness, and not be put to shame from before him at his coming.
29 If ye know that he is righteous, know that every one who practises righteousness is begotten of him.
DARBY translation
Jesus defeated the devil at the cross.
Colossians 2:15 having spoiled principalities and authorities, he made a show of them publicly, leading them in triumph by it.
This is part of a larger summary of the work of Christ, spoken of in Colossians, chapter 2.
Colossians 2:6 As therefore ye have received the Christ, Jesus the Lord, walk in him,
7 rooted and built up in him, and assured in the faith, even as ye have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
8 See that there be no one who shall lead *you* away as a prey through philosophy and vain deceit, according to the teaching of men, according to the elements of the world, and not according to Christ.
9 For in him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily;
10 and ye are complete in him, who is the head of all principality and authority,
11 in whom also ye have been circumcised with circumcision not done by hand, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of the Christ;
12 buried with him in baptism, in which ye have been also raised with [him] through faith of the working of God who raised him from among the dead.
13 And you, being dead in offences and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, he has quickened together with him, having forgiven us all the offences;
14 having effaced the handwriting in ordinances which [stood out] against us, which was contrary to us, he has taken it also out of the way, having nailed it to the cross;
15 having spoiled principalities and authorities, he made a show of them publicly, leading them in triumph by it.
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the power of treading upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall in anywise injure you.
Matthew 28:18 (KJV) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The devil may operate through things of the world, or things of the flesh, but the devil is a defeated foe.
The authority has been given to believers, but if it is not used, there is no effect. It is put into action through knowledge and the choice to: 1. submit to God 2. resist the devil.
James 4:1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
