equal opportunity for Christians
Regarding the Separation of Church and State
The atheistic, modernistic, secular, progressive world has generally convinced the church to stay out of matters of the state.
Jesus is speaking in the parable below.
Matthew 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
So while the progressives mock and say that “no religion is allowed in the state”, they have their own form of religion. You might even say they have a few religious denominations or cults or religious sacraments, however you want to define them.
- the sacrament of abortion
- the religion of climate change
- the cult of transgenderism
They even have their own prophet, the false prophet who spews out lies and propaganda in the media.
Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Revelation 12:5 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Revelation 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
To preach to others to separate church and state is disingenuous when they themselves do not separate their form of religion from the state. One of the qualifications to be in political office in the current administration is to belong to one of their church’s denominations, such as transgenderism.
It is the double standard of…it’s good for me…but not for thee.
God never intended for righteousness and uprightness and morals to be separate from the state.
On the basis of holy scripture, who is currently in authority? These are only a few verses; there are others than can be found in the Holy Bible.
Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
7 The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.
8 Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath.
12 If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.
If the church cowers and decides that the only way to beat them is to join them, and be culturally “sensitive” and not “give offense”, this is the danger of that position. The tares get burned first.
Matthew 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Someone is always going to be offended about something. Jesus did not change his message when people did not like it. He put the onus on the followers to change their standard, not on himself.
Matthew 11: 6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
Christians should feel confident that they can bring righteousness to their communites, school boards, and government.
The progressives bring their religion. That should mean equal opportunity for Christians.
