Repost: RS-14 The Scientific Revolution: The Creator God’s Importance to Science Itself

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

If the video is muted out below and unviewable, here is a direct link to YouTube.

It is 2:24 in length and worth watching in order to understand that many early scientists were devote Christians.  It counters the current secular, modernist, atheistic lie that science and Christianity have no relationship to each other and the lie that a scientist cannot also be a Christian.  Early scientists, Christian scientists, believed they could understand the universe because the universe was created by a Creator who created mankind in the Creator’s image, and therefore created mankind would be able to comprehend and think God’s thoughts after him (Kepler).

The Valley of Decision

Joel 3:14  (KJV)  Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.

II Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

When a decision is made according to the Word of God, indicating faith in the promise and the God of the promise, then salvation, the answer, is “now” with evidence of things unseen.  This is why there are multitudes in the valley of decision.  A decision needs to be made to align with God and walk that out for the answer to manifest.

Ephesians 6:13 … and having done all, to stand.

Repost: Darwin DEBUNKED: Using Modern Science (12 Minutes of Density!)

Darwin published his theory, Origin of the Species, in 1859.

Why does it matter, and why are scientists and Christian apologists still discussing this today?

The reason is this.  All of secular, modernistic, atheistic, “woke”, “Deep State”, communist and anti-human philosophies were birthed in the idea that man evolved, rather than being created by God.  If man evolved, then truly this world is run by “the law of the jungle” in which the most aggressive and rabid individuals and systems win as they kill off everyone else through “the law of the jungle”.

From Wikipedia:

The law of the jungle” (also called jungle law) is an expression that has come to describe a scenario where “anything goes”. The Oxford English Dictionary defines the Law of the Jungle as “the code of survival in jungle life, now usually with reference to the superiority of brute force or self-interest in the struggle for survival”.[1]

Also from Wikipedia:

The Law for the Wolves

“NOW this is the law of the jungle, as old and as true as the sky,
And the wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die.

As the creeper that girdles the tree trunk, the law runneth forward and back;
For the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack.

Wash daily from nose tip to tail tip; drink deeply, but never too deep;
And remember the night is for hunting and forget not the day is for sleep.

The jackal may follow the tiger, but, cub, when thy whiskers are grown,
Remember the wolf is a hunter—go forth and get food of thy own.

Keep peace with the lords of the jungle, the tiger, the panther, the bear;
And trouble not Hathi the Silent, and mock not the boar in his lair.

When pack meets with pack in the jungle, and neither will go from the trail,
Lie down till the leaders have spoken; it may be fair words shall prevail.

When ye fight with a wolf of the pack ye must fight him alone and afar,
Lest others take part in the quarrel and the pack is diminished by war.

—Rudyard Kipling (1865–1936)

If the world evolved by the law of the jungle, then “the lords of the jungle” prevail.  But if the Lord God created the heavens and the earth, which He did, then there is a Lord God that man needs to look to and follow.

It is only in a world that removes God that atheistic, dictatorial systems can prevail.  These systems come in by appealing to the worst in human nature, the sin nature.  Free stuff.  Socialism.  Communism.  “Freedom” to do whatever the flesh wants.  That has evolved in this society to call alcoholism “self-medication,” or pedophilia “MAP,” “minor-attracted persons.”  It attempts to legitimize sin, for example, legalizing murder in laws regarding abortion.  Lately, there has been extreme theft and murder in various cities, and rather than any punishment for the crimes, the criminals are released to do it again.  Law is ignored.  And at the national level,  war is propagated as a means of enriching the military- industrial complex.  In a world that does not answer to God, the worst of sin and iniquity operates on a regular basis throughout society causing death and destruction.

John 10:6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

On the other hand, God made provision for the redemption of humanity through Jesus Christ.  The Creator showed his concern and love for the fallen creation of man through Jesus Christ.

Genesis 3:14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

The discussion in the video listed above regarding the complexity of the cells shows the error of Darwin’s theory.  A complex cell cannot evolve piece by piece.  A complex cell came from the ultimate “top down,” the Creator, the Lord God.

It is imperative to understand that man did not evolve.  Otherwise, a person can be deceived by atheists who will attempt to convince society that atheists, satanists, and globalists should be in charge “for the greater good” because these atheists consider themselves some type of “superior beings” capable of running the world and/or turning it over to AIs and who are also influenced by demons.

II Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Jurisdiction

The topic of “jurisdiction” is important in legal circles.  It is why if a person gets a driving violation ticket in Nevada, that same person does not go to Massachusetts to pay the fine.

I believe that jurisdiction is an underrated and understated topic in Christian circles and also a major part of why the nation is in the trouble it is in.

Much of the Bible is universal.  But there are certain places where there are certain distinctions that I will call distinctions of jurisdiction.  Sometimes messages were directed towards leaders.  Sometimes messages were directed towards common folk.  Perhaps there is a better term than jurisdiction, but I don’t know it.

Here is one general jurisdiction that applies to all of mankind.

Psalm 115:16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

People complain, why doesn’t God do anything?

Psalm 115:16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

Whose responsibility is it?

Psalm 115:16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Does it say, they working with the Lord or the Lord working with them?

Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

So confusion of roles can lead to confusion of expectations.  As long as we do our part, God is always faithful to do his part.  And the Bible is full of exhortations as to what “our part” is, which is why consistent Bible study and church attendance is necessary to learn.

Another place of confusion is that of the public sector and the private sector.  When it comes to legal matters, it matters if someone is operating within the valid authority of an official position in government; under “color of law,” in other words, it seems official but isn’t; or under the private capacity.

I’m not saying this as a lawyer or theologian, because I am neither.  However, as a person reasonably well-studied and read, I believe that the Old Testament requirements for leaders are strict and must be followed in a similar manner if there is to be hope for a nation.

Jesus in the sermon on the mount was talking to average, what we would call, private citizens.  However, they at that time in history did not enjoy the rights and freedoms that have been granted under the Constitution, but which are in the process of being lost.

I believe that perhaps some politicians are beginning to come to the realization of the distinction of roles.

If there are those who read this and say “Oh, we don’t do that, we are Christians, we are going to be kind to corruption in our government,” then I would say that all the western Allies who fought in WWII against Hitler were hypocrites.  Why didn’t they just turn the other cheek and let Hitler run over the world?  Why not let despots in any nation rule if you want to go by that philosophy?  If it is okay to resist evil in other nations, then why is it not okay to resist evil here at home?  In the article, and I will post the link at the bottom of this article, Trump calls on the DAs and AGs to “get off the mat.”

Why is the United States fighting a war in Ukraine “to the last Ukrainian”?  It is because the Ukraine war feeds the military industrial complex that Eisenhower warned about as he left office.  It is also because the United States has broken treaties and forced the hand of Russia.  The United States is quite guilty for this war, but again, the cry is always, “Russia, Russia, Russia.”  The citizens of the United States ought to be eternally grateful to the Russians that they have withstood the slandering of their nation by the corrupt leaders and media in the United States.  Russians are simply trying to preserve their own nation, which is understandable.  If China built military bases on the Mexican and Canadian border, how would the United States react?  Well, that might be the wrong question with a Manchurian candidate in office, but under normal circumstances, how would the United States react?  Russia is simply defending its way of life and they have returned to Orthodox Christianity, despite propaganda to the contrary.  LBGTQ+ is not welcome in Russia.

In any case, with the question of jurisdiction being touched on in this post, I agree with President Trump. AGs and DAs … and let’s add governors and state and national congressmen and judges and sheriffs to that list … they all need to operate by law that is in place rather than turning the other cheek and going the second mile; when in government dealing with evil, they are bound by the laws of government; they are not to be doormats or wimpy spineless gentlemen who get nothing done.  They weren’t elected to do that.  They have delegated authority.  They need to fight fire with fire.  They have the tools.  Use them.

A Different Season

The Mulberry Tree by Vincent van Gogh

The winds had shifted and a certain group came to Jeremiah for a specific word. This was contrary to what the Lord had given Jeremiah previously for the king of Judah, but this was the word of the Lord to this group.

Jeremiah 42:1 Then all the captains of the forces, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and Jezaniah the son of Hoshaiah, and all the people from the least even unto the greatest, came near,

2 And said unto Jeremiah the prophet, Let, we beseech thee, our supplication be accepted before thee, and pray for us unto the Lord thy God, even for all this remnant; (for we are left but a few of many, as thine eyes do behold us:)

3 That the Lord thy God may shew us the way wherein we may walk, and the thing that we may do.

4 Then Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have heard you; behold, I will pray unto the Lord your God according to your words; and it shall come to pass, that whatsoever thing the Lord shall answer you, I will declare it unto you; I will keep nothing back from you.

5 Then they said to Jeremiah, The Lord be a true and faithful witness between us, if we do not even according to all things for the which the Lord thy God shall send thee to us.

6 Whether it be good, or whether it be evil, we will obey the voice of the Lord our God, to whom we send thee; that it may be well with us, when we obey the voice of the Lord our God.

7 And it came to pass after ten days, that the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah.

8 Then called he Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces which were with him, and all the people from the least even to the greatest,

9 And said unto them, Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, unto whom ye sent me to present your supplication before him;

10 If ye will still abide in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up: for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you.

11 Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him, saith the Lord: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand.

12 And I will shew mercies unto you, that he may have mercy upon you, and cause you to return to your own land.

13 But if ye say, We will not dwell in this land, neither obey the voice of the Lord your God,

14 Saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:

15 And now therefore hear the word of the Lord, ye remnant of Judah; Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; If ye wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to sojourn there;

16 Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were afraid, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die.

17 So shall it be with all the men that set their faces to go into Egypt to sojourn there; they shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: and none of them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon them.

18 For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more.

19 The Lord hath said concerning you, O ye remnant of Judah; Go ye not into Egypt: know certainly that I have admonished you this day.

20 For ye dissembled in your hearts, when ye sent me unto the Lord your God, saying, Pray for us unto the Lord our God; and according unto all that the Lord our God shall say, so declare unto us, and we will do it.

21 And now I have this day declared it to you; but ye have not obeyed the voice of the Lord your God, nor any thing for the which he hath sent me unto you.

22 Now therefore know certainly that ye shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, in the place whither ye desire to go and to sojourn.

Here is another example of the winds shifting.  The Lord had told the people through Moses to move forward into the promised land.  They would not due to unbelief, doubt, and rebellion.  Moses told them that the Lord would judge them for that.  This was their response.

Numbers 14:39 And Moses told these sayings unto all the children of Israel: and the people mourned greatly.

40 And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the Lord hath promised: for we have sinned.

41 And Moses said, Wherefore now do ye transgress the commandment of the Lord? but it shall not prosper.

42 Go not up, for the Lord is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies.

43 For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the Lord, therefore the Lord will not be with you.

44 But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and Moses, departed not out of the camp.

45 Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill, and smote them, and discomfited them, even unto Hormah.

The things of God are more than following certain principles. It is being attentive to the voice of the Holy Spirit and moving when the Holy Spirit says on his time. David, King David, was successful in doing that.

II Samuel 5:17 But when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David; and David heard of it, and went down to the hold.

18 The Philistines also came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.

19 And David enquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the Lord said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand.

20 And David came to Baalperazim, and David smote them there, and said, The Lord hath broken forth upon mine enemies before me, as the breach of waters. Therefore he called the name of that place Baalperazim.

21 And there they left their images, and David and his men burned them.

22 And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.

23 And when David enquired of the Lord, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.

24 And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the Lord go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines.

25 And David did so, as the Lord had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gazer.

It is not just knowing what to do. It is also timing as directed by the Lord.
